Absolutely fantastic surgeon!!! I am posting this review on behalf of my father. My dad was experiencing so much lower back pain and pain radiating down his left leg. The pain was so bad, he had to stop doing his daily activities. My dad met Dr. Paul in the office and they quickly and thoughtfully came up with a game plan to get him out of pain. The plan was surgery. The surgery went so well...my dad actually woke up from surgery with no more pain radiating down his left leg. My dad is now 3 weeks post surgery and starts physical therapy this week. My dad is doing amazing!!! Dr. Paul is an amazing surgeon and his bedside manner is top notch. If you are experiencing any type of back pain...make an appointment with him. Dr. Paul's physician assistant (Kevin) is also great and the whole surgery team (pre-op and post-op areas) at Edward's Hospital was just over the top great. Thank you Dr. Paul, Kevin, and all the nursing staff at Edward's Hospital for helping my dad!!! You all were wonderful!!!

Dr. Paul and his team have exceeded my expectations with regard to care required for persistent back issues. Pre-surgical options were fully explained and explored ahead of the difficult decision to undergo a spinal fusion procedure. Everything surrounding the surgery was handled well, fully transparent and with care/understanding. My post-surgical care has been similarly handled by Dr. Paul and his team, specifically Dr. Kevin (PA) and Hayley (RN). I remain confident that the procedure and care received will return me back to the active lifestyle enjoyed prior to my condition.

My second back surgery was undertaken by Dr Paul in 2011 and 2025. He is a highly skilled surgeon, who takes his time to explain the tasks required. Following the surgery, I experienced a profound sense of well-being. Dr Paul and Kevin Wright form an excellent team. Dr Paul, in addition to Kevin, also provides comprehensive care for his patient's every need.

Dr. Paul came to our family’s attention through personal friends. Both my husband and I had lower back pain and followed his office’s protocol at that time. We worked first with the physiatrist both receiving injections to help manage the pain. Within six months my husband’s pain improved and although he had planned to perform surgery, Dr. Paul determined it was no longer necessary. My back pain, however, did not improve and I was a candidate for a dual L4/L5 and L5/S1 fusion and decompression surgery. His entire staff offered tremendous support as I prepared for surgery as well as post surgery. I am now one year past surgery and I can confidently say my decision to have Dr. Paul handle my surgery was the BEST medical decision I have ever made. Dr. Paul is an orthopedic spine surgeon who will not perform surgery if he doesn’t think it is required, as we witnessed firsthand with my husband. Without hesitation, I have referred others to his practice. His credentials speak for themselves but his personal attention and thoughtful discussions throughout my journey have been far more valuable than anything I could have expected.

The three medical people who make up this practice are the best team I have ever experienced. Their individual expertise comes through with their medical knowledge and the way they discuss your health. I always feel confident with their advice.

Dr. Paul is excellent in all aspects. He is extremely knowledgeable, compassionate, caring, efficient, and personable. I was petrified when I realized surgery was necessary . Upon meeting him, I was reassured knowing that I would be in the best of hands. He explains all very well in terms one can understand and was there for follow up and questions or concerns. My surgery went smoothly and recovery went well and quickly- thanks to Dr. Paul and his team. I can readily provide him with the highest of recommendations.

Dr Paul was a life changer! Other surgeons tried to fix my back but only seemed to make it worse. I have suffered for o er 12 years.
